Passkeys & Two Factor Authentication
In the world of online security, when a public key and a private key when combined, create a passkey that can unlock your account. Passkeys have plenty of benefits; for example, they cannot be guessed or shared. Also, passkeys resist some phishing attempts because they’re unique to the sites they’re created for, so they won’t work on fraudulent lookalikes. This presentation will examine what passkeys are, how to set them up and why you should consider using them.

MS Office 365 Subscriptions for 2026
Is an Office 365 subscription still worth it today?  What has changed with 365 with AI being rolled into the subscription.  This presentation will examine the changes to the 365 subscription in 2025 along with how the MS CoPilot feature is integrated. It will also look at the different pricing models between a perpetual license and the new subscription model.  Finally there will be a discussion on the different alternatives available.

The question: Can a smart home help me age in place?  The answer is yes.  Collectively called the internet of things (IoT), these products are considered intelligent because they connect to your home’s internet and you can control them via smartphone and computer and often by voice. This presentation will review various smart devices that are currently available along with what devices are on the horizon.
